Mr. Mantas Zalatorius
Mantas Zalatorius was born in Vilnius in November 1972. He graduated from Vilnius University with a Bachelor of Arts and obtained MBA from Copenhagen Business School and INSEAD’S CALT.

Mantas Zalatorius joined Swedish Trade Council in 1994 as an Assistant of Trade Commissioner at the Swedish Trade Council’s office in Vilnius and was appointed Executive Officer of the Swedish Trade Council Lithuania in 1999. Since late 2008 Mantas Zalatorius has been appointed as Head of the Baltic Operations and is a member of Central and Eastern Europe Management Board of the Swedish Trade Council.

He has extensive experience working as Lead Manager, Advisor and overall client responsible in projects across Baltic States related to entry strategy and acquisitions with focus on telecommunication, energy, media, finance and defence industries. He acted as Advisor and Lead manager for a large number of Scandinavian businesses in Lithuania, participating in privatization process of Lietuvos Telekomas and in acquisition and divestment processes of main commercial TV channels, hotel developments, etc.

During 2010–2012 Mantas Zalatorius served as an Interim Vice-President for Central and Eastern Europe at the Swedish Trade Council and focused on successful business turnaround in the region.

Since 2012 Mantas Zalatorius was appointed Independent Non-Executive Director of the Board in VAE (Visaginas Nuclear Power), the biggest Energy holding company in the Baltic States.

Mantas Zalatorius is also a Board Director of UNICEF and Ambersail Yacht Club. His previous board assignments include Independent Non-Executive Board Directorship in the Board of KB Components, Scandic Hotels and LCC Advisory Council in Lithuania.

Mantas Zalatorius speaks English, Swedish, Lithuanian and Russian. His foremost hobby is sailing.
